Allen “Bud” Lahren, 85, Fargo, formerly Davenport, North Dakota passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Eventide, Fargo. Bud was born February 17, 1932 in Kindred, North Dakota to Ben and Amy (Driscoll) Lahren. He graduated from Kindred High School in 1950. He was a lifetime farmer on the family farm and was a Crop Duster until his retirement in the mid 90’s. He married Carol Olson on November 6, 1953 and they made their home on the family farm until moving to Fargo in 2013. Bud was an avid hunter, enjoyed golfing, traveling, spending time with family and friends and always liked to go out to eat. He is survived by his wife of 63 ½ years, Carol; daughters, Peggy Lahren, Phoenix, AZ, Sue (Loren) Mairs, Edinburg, ND; grandchildren, Amanda (Tom) Tang, West Fargo, ND, Amie Lahren, Mapleton, ND, Avery Lahren, Fargo, ND, Aricka Lahren, Moorhead, MN, Steven Mairs, Edinburg, ND; step-grandson, Garett (Jennifer) Mairs, Colfax, ND, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 step great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Lahren in 2001, parents and siblings. Funeral Service: 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 28, 2017 at Fredrikson-Boulger Funeral Chapel, Kindred with visitation starting at 12:00 P.M. Burial: Kindred Cemetery, Kindred, ND.
