I wish I could be there on Saturday and to spend some time with you Verna and Dale. My heart just hurts. Dena was one of those life long friends that you can count on one hand. Whenever I was able to see her, it was like no time had passed and we could pick up our friendship like we had never been apart. She is like a sister to me and I will miss her very much. Love always Cathy (Froemke) George

    BOB AND NICK,
i Am lost on trying to write this. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your wife and Mom. I know the pain, sorrow, hurt, loss, love and all the other things you are going through. No I do not know why and neither one of us do if we did it would make it so much easier. God never leaves us he is always there and will be there throughout everything. I understand to well as went through something in late April and still have the very difficult days.
Maybe God will have the answers when we get to the gates of heaven i do not know. Dena was kind, caring, thoughtful and so many other things. There will be many that will miss her especially her family. May God watch over you these next few days and take extra care and Angles will be watching.
Love Always Barb Mason and Mike

  8. I graduated with Dena, and we were best friends all through high school. She was my maid of honor at my wedding in October of 1972. My new husband soon went on active duty with the army, and I only saw Dena one more time after that – I believe just after she found out she was pregnant. I tried many, many times over the past decades to find out where she was and how she was doing, without any success.

Today, again, I was searching for information on my long lost friend, and found the devastating news that Dena had passed away so many years ago. I am heartbroken and I just cannot believe that my friend is gone. I am so sorry for the family’s loss. Dena was such a good friend and my biggest regret is losing touch with her over the years when life took us in opposite directions.

I am so very, very sad for the loss of this wonderful, gregarious friend.

    God’s blessings to you all.

  9. Dena,

It has been two years since I learned you had passed away. I don’t know exactly why, but I have been greatly missing you this past week (again). I will love you and cherish our friendship forever in my heart.
