Frederick "Fritz" William Dichraff

Frederick “Fritz” William Dichraff, 88, passed away on October 20, 2017 at Bethany Retirement Living, Fargo, North Dakota. Fritz was born on the family farm near Colfax on April 28, 1929. He grew up there and married Bette Ann in November 1956. Fritz enjoyed bowling, hunting playing cards and softball. He was also active in the community and continued to farm there until 1989, when they moved to Fargo. He then worked for another 26 years until illness made working impossible. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Bette Ann (Nelson) Dichraff, son John “JD” Dichraff, daughter Linda (Brad) Horvath and grandson Josh Horvath; brother-in-law Russel (Elouise) Nelson and sister-in-law Rose (Robert) Nelson; nieces and nephews Cheryl (Doug) Woodruff, Paul Dichraff, Mary Jo (Tim) Matz, Jeanne (Tony) Timmermann, Ruth (Larry) Hook, Kim Nelson, Kevin (Amy) Nelson, Steven (Tara) Nelson, Tom (Michelle) Nelson, Mary Ellen (Jerry) Arbuckle and extended family. Fritz is preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Sophie and brother Henry (Adeline) Dichraff. A service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 27 at Boulger Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center in Fargo, ND, with visitation beginning one hour prior.
