Obituary

Jeffrey Todd Gilbertson, 54, of Moorhead, passed away on Wed. Aug. 2, 2017. He was under the care of Hospice at Eventide and was surrounded by family and friends. Jeff spent most of his time in “the great outdoors” doing the things he adored; hunting, fishing, and “muskie hunting”. He enjoyed surrounding himself with those he loved most, including his 2 children, Lindsay, 28 and Bradley, 24. He lived life to the fullest and will be missed by many. There will be a celebration of life event from 4-6 pm on Mon. Aug. 7, 2017 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Moorhead, MN.

We are so sorry to read of the sad, untimely death of Jeffrey and want to express our deepest sympathy. May the warmth of family and friends and the resurrection hope we share of seeing our loved ones again as Jesus promised at John 11:25 give you strength and a measure of comfort during this time of sorrow.

    Lindsay and Bradley –

I was so very, very sorry to read that your dad had passed away! I remember him from high school – always kind, funny and with a smile on his face – just like his picture! He lived a beautiful life and I hope that the precious memories you have of your dad will help you through the days ahead, and bring you both comfort and peace. You will be in my prayers.

Lindsay and family, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. The day I met your dad when he brought Lindsay to my house for my mom to babysit was a time I will never forget. I took one look at Lindsay and asked if I could have her. Jeff laughed and said you can certainly help us with her. Since you lived across the street from us we got to know you all so well and I had the privilege of watching both of you outside of my mom’s daycare. The look in your dad’s eyes was priceless. He loved you both very much.

With lots of Love and prayers for you all,

    Amanda Cypher (Mandy)
