Marian Nelson

Marian Nelson age 85, Fargo, ND passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Bethany on 42nd in Fargo, ND. Marian was born November 23, 1931 to Art and Mary Nelson of rural Emerado, ND. She graduated from high school and earned a special education degree from Mayville Teachers College and Moorhead State College. She taught at Oakville 41 n Emerado, The Anne Carlson School in Jamestown, Ben Eielson Elementary and Lincoln Elementary in Fargo. She was a very gifted teacher and had a great rapport with special needs children. Marian is survived by her brother, Ardus (Eunice) Nelson; nephews, Ricky, Ryan (Tanya) Nelson; Randy (Sabrina), Dana Sand; Steven (Sandy) Sand and nieces, Diane (Larry) Young, and Merry Helen Sand and many great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Art and Mary Nelson, brothers, John and Ricky Nelson; and sister, Darlyne Sand. The funeral will be held at 10:30 am Monday December 12, 2016 at Bethany on 42^nd Chapel, Fargo.
