Mildred Bolgrean

Mildred E. Bolgrean, 84, Fargo passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at her home.
Millie was born August 24, 1932 in Barnesville, Minnesota to Anton and Theresa (Buth) Gehrig. She graduated from Barnesville High School in 1950. She married Norman K. Bolgrean on October 19, 1950 at Assumption Catholic Church, Barnesville, Minnesota. They lived in Barnesville until 1963 when they moved to Fargo.
She worked for many years at Dakota Hospital as a seamstress, retiring in 1988. Norman passed away on April 26, 1989.
Millie loved spending time with her family at the lake home on Prairie Lake, Minnesota. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was very active in her faith. She was a long time member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Fargo. She especially enjoyed playing Bingo.
She is survived by her five daughters: Diane (Karen) Bolgrean, Fargo, ND, Patricia “Trish” (Steve) Bossert, Pelican Rapids, MN, Mary (Clayton) Schauer, Fargo, ND, Donna Villarreal, Fargo, ND, Sharon (Todd) Sjothun, West Fargo, ND, siblings; Lois Thomson, Barnesville, MN, Deloris Hibbert, Bullhead City, AZ, Janice (Kenneth) Cook, Moorhead, MN; sister-in-law Lorraine Gehrig; 11 grandchildren: Lisa (Troy) Wolfe, Scott (Molly) Schauer, Mario Villarreal, Carmelita (Jake) Kroll, Leslie Schauer, Jacob Bossert, Matthew (April) Bossert, Janae (fiancé Jordon) Villarreal, Tyler (Melanie) Villarreal, Sara (James) Broton, Alex Sjothun, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Norman Jr., brothers: Donald and Butch and sisters: Marcella, Florence and Arlene.
Prayer Service: 7:00 P.M. Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Boulger Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center, Fargo with visitation starting at 5:00 P.M.
Funeral Mass: 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 27, 2017 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Fargo with visitation starting at 1:00 P.M.

I had the privilege of working with Millie at Dakota Hospital in the 70’s. What a beautiful, gracious woman! Peace to you Millie and your family!

Millie was like a second mom to me and my sister. She was the kindest and most understanding woman I’ve ever met. Millie loved her family deeply and unconditionally. It just won’t be the same without her in this world, but she has other loved ones waiting her arrival into heaven. Until we meet again Mom.
Millie you have left your footprints on my heart. A woman of beauty and one of caring. May God hold you close as we bid good bye to you for now. Gone but will be forever remembered. RIP my dear friend.

My heart, prayers, sympathy goes out to Millie’s family. What an awesome lady Millie was. Always so warm, kind, loving & just an awesome lady. Im glad our paths had crossed. Diane and Family, I am so sorry to hear about Millie. I didn’t know Millie that well or long, but in the short time I did know her, I enjoyed her company. We met at the pool at Touchmark when she came with Diane. I enjoyed our “chat sessions” while we were walking the pool. I enjoyed listening to her stories. She always had some to share. Diane and Family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
I remember Millie from her days at Dakota Hospital. She always had the nicest smile. So sorry for your loss.

I had the pleasure of meeting Millie at Touchmark health club. We frequently chatted as we exercised. I enjoyed those visits. Peace to her family with special regards to Diane.
Diane, I am so sorry to see that you have lost your mother. I happened to be looking for somebody else on the page and your mothers picture was right there and I thought, “I recognize that lady”. I will keep you and your family in my prayers that you find peace.
