Pamela Katherine (Jesten) Schwan, Fargo, ND passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at her home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley surrounded by her family. She was born on April 11, 1950 in Maryland to George Jesten and Gloria (Peterson) Larson. She grew up in Fargo and graduated from Fargo North High School in 1968. Following graduation, Pam worked as a custodian at Bison Sports and at Rosie’s Laundry Mat and at various other jobs in the area. Pam was a loving and caring person who would give the shirt off her back to someone in need. She is survived by her partner, Tom Bonhus; son, Michael (Erin) Weaver; granddaughters, Hannah and Hayden Weaver; father, Robert Larson; sisters, Terri (David Busby) Jesten Fischer, and Lois Jesten Ritter; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Larson; father, George Jesten; brother, Peter Jesten; and husband, Myron Schwan. There will be a funeral service at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center, Fargo with a visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Essentia Cancer Center or Hospice of the Red River Valley.
