Rose M. Koslofsky, 62, Fargo passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Villa Maria, Fargo after a courageous 2.5 year battle with cancer. Rose Curtis was born December 19, 1958 in Norfolk, VA to Harold and Alberta Ann (Lundquist) Curtis. She moved with her family from Norfolk, VA to Fargo, ND where she attended Fargo North High School, graduating in 1977. She attended and completed floral design school in Denver, CO before moving back to Fargo, ND where she continued her career. She married Gary Koslofsky on August 29, 1987. They made their home in Fargo, ND. She loved putting together Boy Scout Parties and making sure everything went to plan. She was active in Boy Scouts of America where she started out as a Cub Scout Leader and followed through even after her children completed their scouting career. She loved painting, scrap booking, landscaping and anything to deal with flowers. She had a special place in her heart for her beloved dogs, Cricket, Corkie and Kiki. Her family and friends were especially important to her, and she loved any chance she got to speak with them. She also loved spending time with her children, nieces, nephews and extended family. Rose is survived by her husband Gary, Fargo; father, Harold V. Curtis, West Fargo, ND; children, Collin Koslofsky, Fargo, ND, Caitlynn Koslofsky, Fargo, ND; siblings, Ed Curtis, Eureka,MT, Jim (Tammy) Curtis, Fargo, ND, Dan Curtis, Fargo, ND, Sharon Holmes, West Fargo, ND, Patricia Curtis, Pelican Rapids, MN, Charlie Curtis, Fargo, ND and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alberta. A private family service will take place at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo. Rose's Video Tribute can be viewed below:

  6. Dear Gary, Collin, and Caitlynn,
    I’m very sad to see that Rose has passed away.
    We have so many fun memories of all the Cub and boyscout T214 events she planned and prepared tables of themed foods. Her Halloween parties were the best! She was very gifted at staging events with flowers and all.

  8. Gary, we were so saddened to hear of Rose’s passing. Watching the tribute brought back to me how creative she was. She loved you and the kids so very much. I have fond memories of all the times we spent together when we were all first married and just hanging out. Her big smile always brought life to the room. She will always hold a place in my heart and the memories will never fade. Our sympathy to you and the kids and all of her family.
