Rosemary "Rose" Leone (Buttke) Neros 2/20/1940 - 1/13/2019 Rosemary was born the 5th of 11 children to Leroy & Leona (Utke) Buttke on their farm in Emden, ND. As a child she was in a dance troupe with her sisters, performing all forms of dance. She participated in choir throughout her childhood and in high school was a Baton Majorette. Growing up she attended school in Lucca & Enderlin, ND and graduated from Enderlin High School in 1958. Rosemary met the love of her life, Orlan, at Enderlin City Hall during a rollerskating party. Over the next 4 years they had 3 children; Robert, Barbara and Jill. It was an adventure filled life, having lived and moved through Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota and North Dakota. After the kids graduated Rosemary, Orlan and Robert continued on to Texas. When in Texas, Rosemary attended Hardin-Simmons University achieving her Associate of Science in Nursing. While attending college she enjoyed participating in 5k runs, one of which Rosemary and Orlan ran together. After graduating she was an RN in the NICU at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas. They returned to North Dakota in 1996 to be closer to family. They built an amazing home in Enderlin, lovingly named "Whispering Pines". Rosemary also enjoyed traveling, as Orlan was a tour bus driver in his later years. She even was a tour guide a fair share of his trips. Some of which include; the Canadian Rockies (where she drank from a glacier) and Branson, MO during the holidays.
