I am unable to come for the funeral on Saturday, but will be holding all of you in my heart that day. Losing a parent — one that you were close to — one that gave you comfort and assurance just by them being who they were — is such a sad event — and somehow losing the last one — is even harder than losing the first to pass. Your parents were what I would call old school — people who grew up valuing family and friendship connections above all else. May you be blessed with the same values. (little heart)
