Ann G (Stredwick) Luchsinger died on January 19, 2022 at age 91. She died surrounded by her family, with the assistance of hospice, and loved by many.
Ann was born on December 8, 1930 in Logan, ND to Allen and Caroline Stredwick. She married Edgar (Mike) Luchsinger on June 18, 1950. Ann and Edgar lived in the Minot area until the family moved to Fargo in 1973. Ann has been an active member at First Presbyterian Church since moving to Fargo.
Ann is survived by her children Sue (Larry) Scilley, Fargo, ND, and Bruce (Robin) Luchsinger, Buxton, ND; her grandchildren Beau (Noelle) Scilley, Chicago, IL, Matthew (Antonia) Scilley, Fargo, ND, Megan (Jason) Doty, Fargo, ND, Chase Luchsinger, Buxton, ND, and Cole Luchsinger, Broken Arrow, OK; her sister Delores Schick, Rogue River, OR; her brother-in-law Everett Naugle, Pharr, TX; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Luchsinger; her parents Allen and Caroline, and her siblings Norris Stredwick, Don Stredwick, Allen Stredwick Jr, Joe Stredwick, Maeola Quinn, Kenneth Stredwick, Elaine Long, and Donna Naugle.
A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Fargo, ND on January 24, 2022 at 11:00 am, with a visitation at 10:00 am. Burial will take place at a later date in Surrey, ND.
The family suggests memorial contributions in honor of Ann, be sent to Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Dear Sue Ann and Bruce, Just heard about Ann’s passing. She was a most wonderful person and will never be forgotten. No doubt she is now out of pain, at peace and maybe even having a cup of coffee with June and Lorraine! Gob bless her and all of you at this time!
Aunt Ann will forever remain in our hearts and memories. She was a very special and kind lady.

Dear Sue, Larry and Family, Glen and I extend our deepest Condolences on the recent passing of your Mother. Looking at her picture, brings happy memories of when we first met her. She was always friendly and her smile made us feel comfortable. Visiting with her felt like we had known her for a long time. We’ll remember and miss her, she was a very special person. We were very glad we got to know her, even though it was for a short while . May she rest in Peace.

Ann was a dear and wonderful friend to me. She and I were ushers at the Town Hall Lecture Series. I loved every minute that we ushered together. I will treasure my memories of her as we worked side by side for each lecture along with the wonderful hugs she gave me every Sunday morning in church. God bless my sweet Ann. Mary Simle

I’m so sorry for the loss of your mom Sue and Bruce I worked with Ann at Osco Drug for quite a few years and heard a lot about you in the many stories from her. She was a great person to work with and had fun while working too! I’m so glad I had the chance to know her and work with her. Sad to hear this, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sue, Bruce, and all family and friends that love Auntie Ann. She was a remarkable person. I only got to meet her once, but she was so incredibly kind and warm hearted that I felt like I knew her for years. My dad (Daryl Stredwick) always called her his favorite aunt. Dearest Sue, Bruce and your family’s. Your Mom was the absolutely the best Mother a child could have. She was an awesome auntie too. Just want you both to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I always kept in touch with her. Glad to hear she will be in Surrey with the rest of the family. There’s a special place in Heaven for her.

Sue, Bruce and family, so sorry to hear about auntie Ann, loved her so much. We had such good times together. She will be missed by so many. May you be comforted by God at this time and know that she is safely home at last and with loved ones once again.
