Lois Gallagher-Ramaley

Lois J. Gallagher-Ramaley, 96, former longtime resident of Alexandria, MN passed away peacefully Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Touchmark in Fargo. Lois was born November 7, 1925 in Litchville, North Dakota to Robert and Jeanette (Jongeward) McGregor. She attended school in Jamestown where she graduated from High School. She attended Jamestown College where she met and married Leonard Edward Peek. To this union, 3 children were born. They resided in Baton Rouge, LA for many years before returning to Jamestown, ND. She later married Warren Gallagher of Jamestown. They lived in both Jamestown and Sun City West, AZ. After Warren’s passing, she married Harry Ramaley and they made their home in both Arizona and Alexandria, MN. She was an avid reader, golfer and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She also played bridge and was an active member of PEO. She is survived by her children, Mac (Kandace) Peek, Baton Rouge, LA, David (Suzan) Peek, Baton Rouge, LA, Pam (Tim) Hunt, Fargo, ND; 6 grandchildren, Jamie, Keaton, Heather, Travis, Paul, Erin; 4 great-grandchildren, Hope, Grace Declan and Saylor. She was preceded in death by Warren Gallagher, Harry Ramaley, grandson, Casey Hunt; 2 sisters, Arzelle, Eileen; and 2 brothers, Borden and Malcolm. Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Boulger Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center, Fargo with visitation starting at 9:00 A.M. Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, ND at a later date.
