Margaret (Peggi) Katherine Guilbault passed away July 31,2021 surrounded by her family. Peggi was born July 28, 1945 in Bismarck, ND to Charles & Rose (Miles) McGarvey. She grew up in Bismarck and attended St. Mary’s High School through her graduation in 1963. She worked as a secretary for many years and then found her passion as a daycare provider which she did for 13 years. You could always find Peggi doing a crossword puzzle, puzzles, reading, watching Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy, playing Words with Friends or taking a nap in her recliner. She had a huge passion for flowers and always had her flowers perfect. Peggi’s favorite thing in the world was her family. She lived for her great big family gatherings, holidays, baking cookies for her Christmas totes, and her Sunday family dinners. Peggi married Phil Miller in January of 1965 and was blessed with 4 beautiful children. On April 20, 1979 she married Gene Guilbault and got 3 more bonus sons. She is survived by her husband, Gene, daughter Cathi (Bob) Nodsle, and sons Ray (Wonell), Joe (Keri), Dennis (Teresa), Brian (Donna), and Mason (Denise.) She is also survived by her grandchildren; Josh, Mike (Morgan), and Sean, Joey, Nathan, Catey (Christian), Johnny, Maggie, Cody, and Emma, Jesse, Jake, Ben, and Isaiah, Ashley, Kerstin (Travis), Camron, Riley, Hannah, Tinah, Zoey, and Izzy, Jennifer (Mike) and Kevin (Adrianna), Maria and Pieter, Candice (Daniel), Heather, David, and Justin. Also, 11 great-grandchildren; Levi, Timmy, Damien, Kairi, Dellas, Freddie, Addie, Addi, Lucas, Allie, and Tori. She is survived by her sister RoseMary, brothers; Pat, Jerry, and Tom, sisters-in-law; Flora, Bobbie, Angie, and MaryAnn, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Rose, son John, and brothers; Terry, Bob, Chuck, Ralph and Dick, and sisters; Patricia and Marian.

    I know that you already miss your Mom/ grandma/great grandma and that that hurt will never completely go away. I am glad that you will have good memories and stories to share about Grandma Peggy and that the pain does lessen with time. I can’t be with you all on Thursday; I am holding you all in my heart.

  4. Peggy & Gene provided daycare for my two sons Ryan & Brad for many years, truly a blessing for us to have had them both in our lives. God bless you up in heaven Peggy. Deepest sympathy to Gene and all of the family.

  5. Flora, I went to John’s funeral in Neil’s place. That was the last time Peggy and I talked. She was always such a sweetheart, and will be sorely missed. I will keep you all in my prayers! God Bless You!
