Walter Schultz

Walter passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Bethany Retirement Living in Fargo, at the age of 74. Walter F. Schultz was born on November 14, 1946, near Chicago, Illinois where he grew up and received his education. Walter lived most of his life in the Chicago area where he had many fond memories of spending time on the pier during his childhood. Walter worked various jobs throughout his life, but mainly worked in the Journalism industry, serving different roles. Later in life, Walter traveled to North Dakota and has made Fargo his home for the past few years. Because of health concerns, he has made his home at Maple View Memory Care and most recently Bethany Retirement Living. He enjoyed his days by spending time reading books and newspapers, and drinking coffee. Although a bit reserved at first, he was able to adjust to life at the Retirement Living facilities, and enjoyed the company of the staff and other residents. Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the chapel on Thursday. Burial will follow at Springvale Cemetery in Fargo.
