Troy Lee

Troy passed away on August 7, 2015 while spending time with his family on a trip to see his favorite singer. Troy was born on August 31, 1965, the son of Roger and Helen (Ibach) Lee in Fargo, ND. Troy grew up in the Mandan, ND area and graduated from Mandan High School. Following his graduation he explored the country living briefly in Colorado and also California. Troy met Bonnie Ranthum in 1999 and they were married on June 17, 2011 in Deadwood, SD, making their home in Moorhead since. For the past 16 years Troy worked for Cargill in West Fargo where he made many deep lasting friendships who he considered his second family. Troy loved all of his family and had a special unconditional love for his son, Colt. He cherished the time he spent with his grandkids and was the “best grandpa ever”. He was also very close to all of his nieces and nephews. Troy had a passion for riding his Harley, spending time outdoors and fishing. He will be so missed by his dogs – Maggie and Sammy. Troy is survived by his wife, Bonnie Lee; his son, Colt Lee; his stepson, Brett Delvalley; his granddaughters, Chloe and Ciara; and grandson, Mason; his father, Roger Lee Sr.; his brother, Mark Lee; his sister, Kelly Jo (Tom Kozlowski) Lee; his very special nephew, Dalton; and special grand niece, Karmen. Also surviving are his sister-in-laws, Donna, Michele, and Joann; and brothers-in-law, Jason and Michael; and many beloved friends and extended family. Troy was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Lee; his brother, Roger Lee Jr.; two nephews – Ryan and Cody Lee; his grandmother, Olga Lee; his sister, Sheila Marie Lee; his mother-in-law, Barbara Bergson; and several aunts and uncles and many other very dear relatives.
