Boulger Funeral Home offers funerals ranging from the very simple to the elaborate in order to meet the needs of each individual family. With so many options from which to choose, you would benefit greatly by visiting the staff at the funeral home. This would allow the staff to help you determine what best meets your needs.
According to Federal Law, all funeral homes must give price information over the phone. In addition, funeral homes must provide consumers with their current General Price List (GPL), you can find ours on our website, which must itemize the costs associated with funerals. Along with explanations in the GPL, listed below are many different options that are available. In order for you to better understand the GPL, funeral costs can generally be put into three categories:
- The merchandise purchased for the funeral, such as caskets, vaults, register books and memorial folders
- The professional services of the funeral director and staff.
- Cash advance items, which are third party charges that the funeral home includes on their bill as a courtesy to the family. Some of the most common cash advance items are:

Immediate Burials
Immediate burial with container provided by purchaser
Our charge for an immediate burial without ceremony includes:
- Initial transfer of the deceased from place of death to funeral home
- Transportation of the deceased to cemetery in Cass/Clay counties
- Basic services of staff
Our charge does not include coordinating a funeral service or providing cash advance items on the family’s behalf.
Does not include graveside service
This is an alternative to the traditional funeral service. Immediate burial involves initial transfer of the deceased from place of death within Cass or Clay counties to the funeral home, transportation of the deceased to the cemetery, and basic services of the funeral director and staff.
Immediate burial with cloth covered casket
Our charge for an immediate burial without ceremony includes:
- Initial transfer of the deceased from the place of death to funeral home
- Transportation of the deceased to the cemetery in Cass/Clay counties
- Basic services of staff
Our charge does not include coordinating a funeral service or providing cash advance items on the family’s behalf.
Does not include graveside service

A. Transfer of remains to funeral home. Additional mileage charge (one way) of $1.75/mile outside of 25 mile radius.
B. Preparation and care of body for identification.
