  28. Dear Carol and Family,

I was so saddened to hear of the loss of Damian.

Occasionally our paths would cross in life, enough for me to know, that Damian will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

You are in my thoughts and my heart goes out to you.

    Wishing you peace and comfort,

  29. I was very saddened to learn of the passing of Damian. We played on the same FCH football team and knew him well from school. I remember how nice he was and his great smile. I was very happy to see what a wonderful life he lived.

  30. Carol, my heart breaks for you and the family. I have such fond memories of both of you during high school at Fargo Central! Your life together is what it means to meet your soul mates. May our Heavenly Father be with you and the family.

    Betty (Vraa) Ranney

  31. Cookie we were so taken back by this news. We so appreciated the work you and Skip did in establishing the Tamarac Lake Association. Your devoted work on such a tough task was so commendable. We continue to benefit from that work today. In addition your devotion to establishing a community at the lake with public gatherings to allow members and neighbors to meet and greet. This legacy will forever be appreciated and benefited by future folks who will never know the work involved. Both of you being shy about taking credit for anything, it’s no surprise Skip continued to think about others even with the funeral consideration. He will be missed, but his work here will go on. Blessings…

  32. Cookie and family… I was a co-worker of Skip’s for about 14 years. As reflect on those days, it is hard to remember him without a slight mischievous grin, as he enjoyed playing a practical joke on an occasion or two (more than a few of those made me the target). However, in addition to this fun-loving part of him, was the heart of a kind and caring person who would always be there to help his family and friends. He is missed! May God comfort you during this time.
