Agnes Jamieson

Agnes V. Jamieson, 94, Fargo passed away Saturday, February 6, 2010 in the Palliative Care Unit of MeritCare Hospital, Fargo. Agnes was born December 16, 1915 to Charles and Mary (Malia) Franks in Warren, MN. Agnes married Ell Jamieson on February 24, 1940 in Hallock, MN. They made their home in Fargo-Moorhead. Ell worked as a barber in Moorhead, MN until his death in April 30, 1985. Early on, Agnes worked in retail clothing, and in her later years she worked as a senior center dining manager in Moorhead, MN. Raising her family was Agnes’ primary priority. She was always happiest when she was with her children. One of Agnes’ favorite pastimes was playing Bingo. Agnes is survived by her children; Kathleen Enghauser, Plymouth, MN, Margaret Sailer, Moorhead, MN, Judy Jamieson, Fargo, ND, and Robert (Terri) Jamieson, Castle Rock, CO, grandchildren; Candee (Mike) Melin, Plymouth, MN, Susan (Andy) Rau, Fargo ND, Sandra Ferris, Moorhead MN, Karen (Eric) Kessler, Fargo ND, Scott (Darcy) Sailer, Fargo ND, Chad (Stacy) Jamieson, West Fargo ND, Rob (Michelle) Jamieson, Denver CO, Katie (Dan) Worrel, Walcott ND, Sheila (Rick) Sartwell, Fargo ND, Jimmy (Michele) Jamieson, Fargo ND, Ryan Jamieson, Fargo ND, and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ell Jamieson, son’s Skipper Jamieson and Jimmy Jamieson, granddaughter JoDee Jamieson Lapp, and brother William Franks. There will be a funeral mass on Thursday, February 11 in the Mavis Whiting Chapel of Bethany Retirement Living, 201 University Drive South, at 10:00am.
