Albert Fandrich

Albert Fandrich Hillsboro, North Dakota Albert passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at Union Hospital in Mayville, ND at the age of 77. Albert was born on October 28, 1931, the son of Gust and Violet (Schauer) Fandrich, near Burnstad, ND. In 1938, they moved to a farm near Blanchard, ND. Albert attended grade school at Bloomfield No. 3 and graduated from Bohnsack High School. He moved to Fargo, ND in 1954 where he worked at a lumberyard. Albert was married to Mary Harris in Sisseton, SD in 1955 and they had three children, Debra of Pierre, SD; John of Clovis, NM; and Larry of Colorado. In 1962 he started doing carpentry work. In 1967 he started farming with his brother. Albert was united in marriage to Rita Van Dyun on September 2, 1967, at Arthur, ND. They had two children, Brian (Amy) of Alexandria, MN; and Mark (Tara) of Hillsboro, ND. Albert is survived by his 5 children; his brother, Allen of West Fargo, ND; his sisters, Edna of Gary, MN; and Alice of Jamestown, ND; his 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Arthur; and two sisters, Violet and Shirley. Memorial Service: 2 PM Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Blanchard Lutheran Church in Blanchard, ND Burial: Arnegaard Cemetery near Hillsboro, ND Arrangements entrusted to the care of Wildeman Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
