Ann Pladson

Ann L. (Evenson) Pladson, 79 of Fargo, died Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Bethany Retirement Living, Fargo. Ann L. Evenson was born to Even and Lily (Iverson) Evenson on November 17, 1929 at Taft, ND. She attended grade school in Cummings, ND, graduating Hatton High School in 1947. She married Sidney M. Pladson of Hatton, ND on May 29, 1954 in Crookston, MN. They made their home in Hatton, Syre and Lake Park, MN and moved to Bismarck, ND in 1962. Ann worked in banking for State Bank of Burleigh County (later United Bank) from 1962-1985 holding many positions. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney in 2001; 2 brothers, Russ and Ernie Evenson; sister, Marie Riggs and her parents. Ann is survived by 2 daughters, Kim A. Pladson of Fargo and Kay (Jim) Stout of Williston, ND; her son, Jon (Joan) Pladson of Long Beach, CA; 3 granddaughters, Kristen Mimnaugh of Bismarck, ND, Lori Beth (Michael) Strom of Valley City, ND and Bethany Pladson of Fargo; 1 brother, Mick (Jeanette) Evenson of Oklahoma City, OK and 1 sister, Barbara Bye of Fargo. Memorial Service: Wednesday, September 9 at 1:00 pm at Mavis Whiting Chapel, Bethany Retirement Living in Fargo. Interment: North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan, ND at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
