Baby Evin Roley

baby evin roley

Evin Richard John Roley, Fargo, ND, died Monday, November 1, 2010 at the age of 21 weeks at Sanford Hospital.

Evin was born into his loving home on June 8, 2010. He entered our family with challenges that were met with courage; he's been, and will continue to be, an inspiration to us all. His determination taught us the true definition of strength and perseverance. His motto was, "Who me? I'm tough as nails". He will be remembered and never forgotten. We will all miss him dearly; he's now the little angel that will watch over us all.

Evin is survived by his parents, Danielle Ronningen and Austin Roley of Fargo, ND; grandparents: Jenenne Guffey, Dilworth, MN, John Ronningen, Fargo, ND, Rick Roley, Warrren, MN; great-grandparents: Gloria Johnson, Delta, CO and Stanley and Barbara Ronningen, Fargo, ND, Vernon and Shirley Roley, Warren, MN; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Evin is preceded in death by his grandmother Muriel Roley, Warren, MN and great grandfather Jerry Guffey, Devils Lake, ND.

There is a Roley Family Benefit fund set-up at State Bank and Trust.  The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to everyone for their kindness during this difficult time.

You don’t know who I am, but I too lost a child at just 6 hours old. I understand what a difficult time this is and will be for you. It’s been 2 years for me, and I still think about my baby every day. Although it may seem impossible now, it does get easier with time. May God and your child smile down upon you knowing how much he is loved.

As GOD has supported you during this entire journey, may GOD continue to be with you at this most difficult time, as you mourn this loss. May the gift of Evin and his persistent spirit always enrich your lives and may memories of cherished moments with him bring you comfort. You did your best for him and your devotion and love for him will endure.

    Dear Family of Evin,
My sincere sympothy extends to all of Evin’s family. I know how precious these little ones are to us. I have not lost a child, however, I can empathize. I attended the funeral of my husband’s cousin’s 5 month old son. It was very difficult. But, yet we have hope that we will see these little ones in heaven someday. I pray for you all and ask the Lord to bless you during this difficult time.
    Sincerely,
    Ruth

I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love. ~Leo Buscaglia

To the family of Baby Evin,
I am so sorry for the sorrow and pain for your unimaginable loss. No one can begin to know your pain and sadness.
Sincerely, Jan Atchison, a friend and colleague of Jenenne’s at MSUM

  17. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain that you all feel during this difficult time. I have never seen anyone do what Danielle has done over the past months. It takes a very strong individual to do what Danielle did. Evin is now a angel in heaven. Me and my son would pray for Baby Evin every night and I have to say that he was the “miracle baby”. I will never forget his lil handsome face. Danielle if there is anything you need please don’t hesitate to call. Your in my thoughts and prayers in these days and months to come.

I continue to pray for your grief at this time and will continue to have faith that Evin is no longer suffering and in a happy, safe place.
