The funeral service for Barbara Berg will be held 11 AM Thursday, January 30, 2003, at the Hillsboro United Parish UCC-UMC. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 - 7 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM in United Parish. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the funeral in the church on Thursday. Burial will be held in Riverside Cemetery in Hillsboro. Barb died on Sunday, January 26, 2003, at Meritcare Hospital in Fargo at the age of 60. Barbara Power was born on April 10, 1942, in Hunter, North Dakota, the daughter of Robert and Evelyn (Gotfredsen) Power. She grew up in Hunter and graduated from Hunter High School. After her schooling Barb worked in Fargo for a family providing day care. Barbara was united in marriage to Raymond Berg on March 19, 1966 in Hawley, Minnesota. Together they made their home in Hillsboro where they raised their family. Barb was a very active member of the Hillsboro United Parish working with the womenís groups and the ladies circles. She greatly enjoyed visiting with her friends on the telephone or over a cup of coffee. She took great pride in her family, especially her children and very special grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond of Hillsboro; her children, Sharlene Rohrich of West Fargo; Steven Berg of Fargo; Sherry (Jesse) Ford of West Fargo; and Stacy (Scott) Bauer of Bismarck, North Dakota; her grandchildren, Amanda and Cody Rohrich; Krista and Emily Ford; and Logan Bauer. Barb is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Bernie (Sandy) Power of Williston, North Dakota; Marge (Ray) Fuss of Gwinner, North Dakota; Robert Power of Tuscon, Arizona; Ruth Power of Barnesville, Minnesota; and Rob (Diana) Power of Portland, North Dakota; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Barb was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Roger Power. (Wildeman Funeral Home, Hillsboro)
