Benedict Cich

Benedict Theodore Cich, 56, 230 8th Avenue West, West Fargo, died Sunday, March 2, 2003, at his home in West Fargo. Benedict was born October 14, 1946, to Victoria and Ted Cich in Omaha, NE. They moved to Fargo, ND, in 1950, and then to West Fargo in 1956. He attended West Fargo High School, and enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp on March 27, 1969. He served in the Vietnam War and was given an honorable discharge May 18, 1973. He worked at local body repair shops and owned and operated a few businesses, including Ben?s Auto Body in Horace, ND. He later moved to Arizona, and then returned to West Fargo one year ago. He lived at the West Fargo High Rise for two months. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and one sister, Diane. He is survived by two children, Rachel (Jeff) Monette, Fredericksburg, TX, and Richard Cich, Redding, CA; two grandchildren, Kamalya and Kamdyn, Fredericksburg, TX; two sisters, Janice (Roger) Turchin, Horace, and Joyce (Darrell) Dahl, Sioux Falls, SD; two brothers, Jack Cich, Tucson, AZ, and Ron (Carol) Cich, West Fargo; and eight nephews and three nieces. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 5:30 PM in Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo. Arrangements by Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
