Bernard Hahne

Bernard J. Hahne, age 83, Fargo, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2004, in ManorCare Health Services, Fargo, under Hospice care. Bernard John Hahne was born November 8, 1921, in Moorhead, MN, the son of John and Nettie (Johnson) Hahne. He graduated from Central High School in Fargo in 1939. He was employed with the Fargo Post Office from 1944-1977, and with Parking Service from 1978-2001. He married Virginia Rheault in 1948. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Walt; and nephew, Scott Hahne. He is survived by his wife, Virginia of Fargo; daughter, Mary (Bill) Blixt of Fargo; grandson, Jon Blixt of Fargo; sisters, Beverly Ames, Fargo, and Delores (Dale) Anderson of Henderson, NV; two nieces; and seven nephews. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. Mark?s Lutheran Church in Fargo. Visitation will be held Monday from 5-8 p.m. in Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will also be held in the church on Tuesday one hour prior to the funeral.
