Bertha Erbstoesser

Bertha A. Erbstoesser, 78, of Rosewood on Broadway, Fargo, died there May 25, 2003, under the care of hospice. Bertha A. Schabary, the daughter of Joseph & Barbara (Holz) Schabary, was born February 16, 1925, in Lefor, ND. She grew up on a farm near Lefor and attended school there. Bertha married Herbert Erbstoesser in Fargo on September 15, 1947. Bertha worked at North High School cafeteria in the 70's. She then worked at St. Luke?s Hospital (Meritcare) from 1977 until 1987. Bertha was an active member of St. Mary?s and St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Churches. Her husband died in 1989. She is survived by four daughters: Shirley Klocke, Fargo, ND, Barbara (James) Braaten, Hankinson, ND, Patricia Kerzman, Fargo, ND, and Mary (James) Bodensteiner, Fargo, ND; one son, Mark (Barb), West Fargo, ND; four sisters: Elsie (Peter) Sadowsky, Dickinson, ND, Barbara (Peter) Kline, Dickinson, ND, Ann (John) Stein, Bismarck, ND, and Mabel (Ray) Stein, Richardton, ND; one brother, Alex Schabary, Nashville, TN; and 13 grandchildren. Funeral Mass: Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Fargo Visitation: 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday in the Boulger Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery, Fargo, ND Arrangements by Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, ND.
