Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Lots of fun memories come flooding back as I think of your mom, and all of you, and the time you spent with all of us in Hampden! That was the “good ‘ol days” for all of us! I remember your mom’s good cooking at the cafe and your family living upstairs! It was great growing up with all of you! May your memories of your mom make you smile after your tears have dried! Love, sympathy and prayers from Barb and Richard Lunde

  2. My love and prayers to Bette’s family, especially our dear friend, Carol, from Baraboo, WI. We have heard about their last visit together. What an awesome goodbye to a lovely lady. RIP Bette

  3. Steve and Pat Ivesdal

She was a very generous, hard working and fun Lady. I will always remember the time she and the Clark family saved me and my two buddies from the March 66 storm. She gave us beds to sleep in and fed us for three days. I think we played 276 hands of Hearts. I don’t know what would have happened to us were it not for her generosity and kindness. We probably would have frozen to death in the car.

Our family always looked forward to the Clark’s visiting us on the farm, lots of good times and memories. My parents had the highest respect for she and Alvin, and we always enjoyed having both Alvin’s helping us on the farm.

For me she was a great cousin and I know she was a great Mother. She was always my Mother’s favorite. We will definitely fulfill her wishes and bend an elbow in having a toast to her great life.

  5. I worked with Betty at Kmart and there were days we had so much fun. Did tricks on each other. She was one of the best people to be around. I have often thought about her and wondered where she was.The last time I seen her was at a birthday party for her. She will be missed and I for one will have a drink in her honor.
    RIP Betty

  10. When married to Betty’s son, Alvin, she taught me that it’s okay to live life and loosen up. Betty & I had many conversations. She predicted the birth if not son, Adam, before even a test.
Betty loved life and laughter. I’m so glad we crossed paths. Rest well, Betty-Mom.
