Beverly A. Heinsen
March 1, 1932 ~ July 9, 2020
Beverly A. Henke Heinsen was born in Plentywood, MT to Henry and Eleanor (Turnell) Henke, March 1st, 1932. She passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at her home.
She attended a rural elementary school a mile from the farm home south of Dagmar, MT. She graduated from Medicine Lake, MT High School in 1950, and then attended college in Minot, ND to be a primary school teacher. She taught in Plentywood, MT for two years while awaiting Gayle’s return from the service in Korea. Later she taught in North Dakota and worked as a substitute teacher in various places before moving to Fargo in 2013.
She and Gayle Heinsen were married June 25, 1954 in Plentywood, MT and they lived in Minot, ND for a few years before later moving to several different areas in ND, including to Fargo in 2013.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, one in infancy, two brothers, a brother-in-law, an infant granddaughter, and her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Gayle, four children and their spouses, Lyle (Becky) Heinsen, Kelvin (Laura) Heinsen, Les (Sharon) Heinsen, Kari (Brad) Timmersman, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one brother, Loren, brother-in-law, Elton Overby and many nieces and nephews.
Beverly made her choice to serve God in her early teens and was very thankful for that privilege.
Beverly’s family would like to thank Hospice of the Red River Valley for their tender care in her final days.
Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo with visitation starting at 9:00 A.M.
Burial: Fargo National Cemetery, Fargo.

Bev was always the same ~ a gracious, loving, faithful lady.
Bev and Gayle and their family were very special to me when I started my teaching career in Stanley in 1960. The bonds of friendship and fellowship have remained through the years.
Our condolences Les and Sharon to you and your family on the loss of your mom. I always enjoyed visiting with your mom and dad when I would see them at Aflac events. They were wonderful people. May God comfort you in your sorrow.

Beverly, was a kind, nurturing, caring, loving, smart, amazing soul. I had the pleasure of knowing her, her kindness and ever lasting love of her family and Gayle. Her shine is the kind of love the world should always have. The world is a better place for having her in it.

We think of the Gayle Heinsen family at this time. We met Bev and Gayle when the family were young. We have good memories of times together at Loren and Lillian‘s. May the God of all comfort, comfort this family as they remember the faith that their mother had.
