Beverly A. Henke Heinsen was born in Plentywood, MT to Henry and Eleanor (Turnell) Henke, March 1st, 1932. She passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at her home. She attended a rural elementary school a mile from the farm home south of Dagmar, MT. She graduated from Medicine Lake, MT High School in 1950, and then attended college in Minot, ND to be a primary school teacher. She taught in Plentywood, MT for two years while awaiting Gayle’s return from the service in Korea. Later she taught in North Dakota and worked as a substitute teacher in various places before moving to Fargo in 2013. She and Gayle Heinsen were married June 25, 1954 in Plentywood, MT and they lived in Minot, ND for a few years before later moving to several different areas in ND, including to Fargo in 2013. She was preceded in death by three sisters, one in infancy, two brothers, a brother-in-law, an infant granddaughter, and her parents. She is survived by her husband, Gayle, four children and their spouses, Lyle (Becky) Heinsen, Kelvin (Laura) Heinsen, Les (Sharon) Heinsen, Kari (Brad) Timmersman, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one brother, Loren, brother-in-law, Elton Overby and many nieces and nephews. Beverly made her choice to serve God in her early teens and was very thankful for that privilege. Beverly’s family would like to thank Hospice of the Red River Valley for their tender care in her final days. Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M.
