Beverly passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Bethany Retirement Living in Fargo at the age of 89. Beverly Erickson was born on June 13, 1925, the daughter of Ralph and Rose (Schafer) Erickson in Fargo, ND. She grew up in Fargo, attending the Fargo Catholic Schools graduating from Shanley High School. Beverly was united in marriage to Robert Carr on May 14, 1948 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Fargo. Following their marriage to made their home in the Minneapolis, MN / Eau Clarie, WI areas. The family moved to Minot, ND where they raised their family. Beverly worked for Prudential of America for over 30 years. They retired and moved to Fargo where they have lived since. Beverly was fortunate to have many incredible and loyal friends, too numerous to list. Throughout the years she loved spending time at their family lake home on Lake Melissa, playing piano, and being with her children and grandchildren. Beverly and Robert were also very active in the later years with the Silver Follies and performed with them in Las Vegas. She will be remembered for her gentle heartedness and always putting her family’s needs first. She loved life and her smiling face will be sorely missed. Beverly is survived by her loving husband of nearly 68 years, Robert of Fargo; her children – Patricia Myers, Susan (Mike) Lynch, and Thomas Carr all of West Fargo, ND; her grandchildren – Christina (Peter) Harms, Mark (Rachel) Myers, Jeff (Megan) Cuellar, Nicole (Brandon) Kummeth, and Michael Joseph Lynch; and her great grandchildren – Micah Harms, Tina Harms, Elizabeth Harms, Hannah Harms, Kaden Kenny, Morgan Kummeth, James Myers, Lila Myers, Kingston Cuellar and Leah Myers. Also surviving are her siblings – Donna Kavanaugh and Bernie (Jack) Lynch. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Kay Rhinehart; and brothers-in-law, Jerry Kavanaugh and Gene Johnson. VISITATION: 5-7 PM Thursday at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo – and also one hour prior to the service in the church on Friday FUNERAL MASS: 2 PM Friday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Fargo BURIAL: Holy Cross North Cemetery in Fargo

  2. I and my children were sorry to hear of Bev’s passing. They were wonderful neighbors to us in Minot. My son Ron got rides to St. Leo’s school from them, much appreciated. My daughter Wendy dog sat for Niki and Tiki. Please know prayers have been with you all.
