Beverly Ann Sauvageau Hanson passed away July 8, 2012 in her home in Barnesville, Minnesota surrounded by family.  She was 69 years old.

Beverly was born in Fargo, North Dakota to Edward and Angela Sauvageau on August 5, 1942.  She was a 1961 graduate of Fargo Central High.

Beverly married Richard L. Hanson in 1967 at St. Mary’s in Fargo.  They made their home in Fargo and rural Fargo areas.  They moved to Barnesville in 2007 to be closer to the lakes.

Beverly loved family, gardening, and her flowers.

Beverly is survived by her parents Ed and Angela; her husband Richard; her sons Kevin (Teri), Callie and daughter Tracy.  She is also survived by her brothers, Gerald (Peggy) Sauvageau, Richard (Jeanne) Sauvageau, Daniel Sauvageau, Michael (Betty) Sauvageau, Dean (Sandi) Sauvageau; sisters, Sandra (Kurt) Smith, Karen (Joe) Amundson, Renee McPherson, Tona Sauvageau; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and many family members.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Sauvageau; sister-in-law, Kay Sauvageau; and mother-in-law, Helen Mercil.

    I’m so sorry to hear of Bev’s passing. It was a shock. I haven’t seen her in years but remember our childhood in the Golden Ridge area. Marv’s wife called me to inform me of the news but I am unable to attend the funeral.
