Bill R. Marks, 74, Fargo passed away Sunday, March 28 in Innovis Hospital, Fargo.
Bill was born on August 22, 1935 in San Diego CA to William and Grace (Williams) Marks.
As a child, Bill spent time living in New York. Bill served two terms in the US army during the 1950's. He was stationed in Europe and stateside during his tenure.
Bill worked for Sears while living in New York. He moved to Fargo in 1960, continuing his work at Sears as a customer service technician for 28 years. While at Sears, Bill also worked part time security at local security companies, a job which he continued full time until retirement. Bill enjoyed his part-time work after retirement at the FM RedHawks in Fargo.
Bill is survived by his companion of 21 years, Clarice Meyer, Fargo, ND; sons, Guy Marks, Loveland, CO, Kris Marks, Fort Collins CO; aunt, Evelyn Legg, Bronx, NY; close members to his family, Jay (Ginna) Chevalier, Cardiff by the Sea, CA, Jim (LeAnn) Chevalier, and their daughters, Amber, Alicia, Andrea, and Arica, Fargo.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents.

Bill spent his early childhood in Wilmington, California with his step Mother, Josephine. His divorced Mother and US Navy Father lived in San Diego. He moved to New York in 1950 and stayed with his aunt Rachel until his first Army enlistment in 1952.
