Brenda Lynne Jensen Ellefson, of Fargo, ND passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at the age of 51. Brenda was born March 11, 1964 at St Ansgar Hospital in Moorhead, MN to Dennis and Arlene Jensen. She graduated from Fargo South High School in 1982. On April 25, 1987 she married Roland Knox and had two sons, Tony and Colton Knox, both of Fargo, and a daughter, Kierra Knox, also of Fargo. After living in multiple places in North Dakota and Idaho, Brenda moved back to Fargo with her three children. She enjoyed the company of her co-workers at the Cass County Courthouse for 14 years in the Recorders Office. In 2011, Brenda found the love of her life in Wayne Ellefson, and they were married on March 7, 2014 at the Cass County Courthouse, adding Christopher and Kari Ellefson to her family. Brenda was devoted to her children, a loving mother and wife. She loved to bake, read books, spend time with family & friends, travel with Wayne, and play with her dogs, Louie and Vito. Brenda enjoyed her time with Moms and More and The Classics at Fargo Baptist Church. She also was a proud Associate Member of the Vietnam Veterans of America – Chapter 941 and was a kind and giving person with a heart of gold. She is survived by her husband, Wayne; parents, Dennis and Arlene Jensen of Fargo; brother Larry (Marsha) Jensen of Fargo; sister Shelly (Mark) Lindlauf of Fargo; her children Tony, Colton, and Kierra Knox of Fargo, and step-children Christopher also of Fargo, and Kari Ellefson of Surprise, Arizona. Brenda also leaves behind two nieces (Tia Lindlauf of Nebraska and Christa Lindlauf of Fargo) and two nephews (Austin and Avery Jensen of Fargo) as well as numerous other cousins and other family members across the country. Visitation 5-7 P.M. Monday, October 26, 2015 with Prayer Service at 7 PM at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo. Funeral Service: 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Fargo Baptist Church, Fargo, ND. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo.

    Unfortunately because we moved, we have not seen Brenda in many years, but we have many memories of Brenda, being her friendly self and caring mother.
