Callee Hagen

April 16, 1978 - May 05, 2016

Callee Maria Hagen, age 38 of Fargo, ND, passed away on May 5, 2016 at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She was born to parents Curt and Mary Hagen on April 16, 1978.

Callee attended Fargo South High school, before going on to cosmetology school where she got her license. Callee worked many years doing what she loved to do, cut hair. Family and friends were Callee’s passion and life. She loved to talk about various trips she would like to take, particularly to Florida. Callee loved people and could talk and get along with everybody, always leaving a lasting impression with everyone she talked to. She enjoyed spending time in her hometown of Fargo, and Minneapolis as well, where many of her close friends reside. Callee was diagnosed with cancer in October of 2015 and eventually went on to receive treatment in Rochester, MN at the Mayo clinic.

Callee was best known for her personality, and being very easy going and care free. She had a smile that was unforgettable. She always enjoyed spending time watching her sons play basketball on the weekends. She enjoyed the time she was able to spend with her family, and always loved having her three boys together.

Callee is survived by her parents Curt and Mary, brother Cory, sister Codie (Scott) Donahue, nephews Liam (9) and Flynn (6) and three sons, Alex (20) Isaiah (11) and Shiloh (3), and her partner Keenan Nelson.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Albin and Helen Hagen, and Eda Nogowski.

There will be a memorial service at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 13, 2016 at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center, Fargo with a visitation one hour prior.

I knew Callee through her son Alex Hagen. Alex, much like Callee, is a person who is original, fun-loving and the kind of person that looks into your eyes when you are talking to him. Alex and my son Aaron Green used to have running races together in second grade after school in the front of Carl Ben when it was a grade school. Alex was also in sports with Aaron over the years and Callee would be there with her fabulous smile watching Alex. Those are great memories and I hope that memories like those of Callee outweigh the pain of losing her far to early in her life. God bless.
