  1. Cougar WADear family of Carla – I was so sorry to hear of Carla’s passing. I, too, saw her rarely over the years since we graduated, but can immediately recall her laugh and ready smile. May you all feel her peacefulness.

  2. Fargo ND
I met Carla in December of 1982 when we both joined Professional Secretaries International. We have been friends ever since. The meetings were so much fun when sitting next to Carla! A few months ago I told Carla how much I appreciated the time she took writing the cards she had sent to me. She was a friend that could really share your joyous moments and your sad moments. Carla had a wide-range of friends and enjoyed getting them all together and having a party! Luther, you have always been there for Carla – you are a wonderful person. I will miss you Carla but know you are in a better place.

  3. Side Lake Minnesota
So sad about Carla! We will miss her so much. She was the glue that kept our group of “girls” together, and she raised friendship to an art form. Carla took her friendships very seriously, never forgetting a birthday or special event. As ill as she often was, she made the effort to stay in touch with her many, many friends and her family. We will miss her distinctive laugh and her dimpled smile. My deepest condolences to her father and sisters Gayle and Kim. And most of all, my condolences to her husband, Luther. Carla could not have had a more devoted soul mate.

I wish I could be at the funeral, but the winter storm precludes that, so will be there in spirit. –Love, Kerry

  4. Victorville CAOur deepest condolences to Carla’s immediate and extended family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

  5. Hudson New YorkDear Luther,
I truly am at a loss for words. I loved my Carla and I can hardly imagine a world where I won’t hear her voice or laughter again.
Her spirit and love of life were boundless as was the depth of her friendship. I met Carla in 1970. We shared a ton of adventures. I always thought there would be a little more time for us but it’s run out now.
    My heart aches.
I will so miss you, Carla.
Be peaceful and without pain, at last.
My deepest sympathy to Luther, Gail, Kim and everyone who shared a love of Carla’s unique personality.
    Love to you Car.
    Pam

    Luther,
We were so sorry to hear about Carla.
Our hearts are never ready to let go even when our loved ones are in pain. She was a brave and courageous lady.

I do want you to know that Mike and I thought you were a very kind and attentive husband when we met you at our class reunion last summer.

I only saw Carla at reunions but she was so nice to everybody and had alot of pizazz in high school.

We trust all the memories will be sweet to those who knew her.
