Carol Salberg

Carol Faith Salberg, 85, passed away at Emmanuel Nursing Home, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota Thursday, April 7, 2011.
Carol was born to Reinhold and Edith Huhner in Warren Township on September 10, 1925. She grew up there and attended school at Davenport. She married Lester Salberg at Davenport. They lived in Fargo for a few years. They moved to Davenport where Lester was a rural mail carrier. Carol drove special needs students for many years. She was also a substitute mail carrier. They traveled to Arizona during the winter months. Lester died in 1994. Carol lived in Arizona and enjoyed summers on Star Lake in Dent, Minnesota.
She is survived by her children, Duane (Linda) Salberg, White Bear Lake, Minnesota, Dale (Debra) Salberg, Dent, Minnesota, and Donna Borth, Abingdon, Maryland; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Marion Tuskind, Billings, MT, Luella (Martell) Stenberg, Fargo; brothers, Raymond "Bud" (Elaine) Huhner, Shakopee, Minnesota, and Merle (Temmie) Huhner, Fargo, ND.
She was preceded in death by her father, Reinhold; mother, Edith; sisters, Eleanor and Frances; husband, Lester "Butch".
