Charles W. Black, age 76, died Tuesday, June 15, 2004 in Rosewood on Broadway, Fargo, ND
Charles Black was born June 22, 1927 in Bowesmont, ND, to George W. and Altheir (Empey) Black. He attended Bowesmont Public School and Pembina High School, graduating from there in 1945. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp from February 1946 to November 1947. He then worked at Fuilg General Store and for the Northern Pacific Railroad doing construction work. He was a member of VFW Post #762.
He is survived by his aunt, Muriel Paulson, Drayton, ND, stepson, Dennis (Dorene) Hrynyk, Emerson, Manitoba, Canada; his grandaughters, Tara (Lorne) and Jodi (Greg) and great grandson, Gavin, all Winnipeg.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Emily and his parents.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in Bowesmont Cemetery, north of Drayton, ND.
