Heaven just got a little brighter and happier the moment our Uncle Chuck strolled through it’s pearly gates.Affectionately called “Mr. Laid Back America” Chuck was the “UNCLE” every niece or nephew would dream for. He was always supportive and wonderfully encouraging in any endeavor or shenanigan we could come up with. (Sometimes he may have have actually been the instigator of many humorous pranks and fun-filled events that now lie embedded in our childhood memories). 16. Chuck was was a great friend when we lived in Fargo. We had a lot of great times together. We worked together on a number of MDA projects, he was always there to help others. It would be hard to find a nicer person.

  17. Mavis, Cindy, Greg and Lori – I was very saddened to hear about Chuck and I know that losing a parent, no matter how old we are, is difficult and he will be dearly missed. Growing up as neighbors for all those years, I often admired Chuck for his abundant energy – he kind of reminded me of the energizer bunny. He always seemed to be in a hurry when I would see him out walking – I cannot actually recall a time that he was not at a running pace. You and your families are in our thoughts and prayers.

  18. We are so sorry to hear of his passing. Chuck was such a wonderful man. Always had a smile on his face. Loved to joke around. He had more energy then anyone. Always on the go. Chuck and Mavis often talked about their children growing up Along with the neighborhood kids. With pride and fond memories. Chuck was the meaning of a true friend. Always helping everyone he met. If you were having a bad day and happened to see him at the store. Just his contagious smile, warmth and laughter made your day better. He will be truly missed. Our thoughts and prayers to Mavis and his family.

My love and prayers to all of Chuck’s family. We had some good times together in hockey and softball.
