Charlotte passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at Villa Maria in Fargo at the age of 93.

Charlotte Zenk was born on July 17, 1917, the daughter of John and Jennie (Hanson) Zenk, in Georgetown, MN. At an early age she moved to Fargo with her family where she attended school. Charlotte graduated from Fargo Central High and Business College. After her schooling, Charlotte began working at North Dakota State University. She was united in marriage to Lloyd Williams on February 14, 1942 in Fargo. They made their home in Fargo and Charlotte later went back to work at NDSU and continued for over 40 years of service.

During retirement years, Charlotte and Lloyd enjoyed traveling and visiting relatives. They also loved spending time at their lake home where Charlotte tended to her flowers. She was an avid reader and greatly enjoyed eating out at area restaurants with her family, and spending time with her very special nieces and nephews.

Charlotte is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Lloyd; and many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Marjorie Cossette.

Guestbook

  1. Klamath Falls ORAunt Charlotte will be deeply missed by all of us who love her and we are comforted as we think of her in the presence of our Lord, suffering no more. We’ve all been blessed by her kind and gentle ways, as well as by her keen wit that both Mom and Charlotte shared with us all. As we mourn her passing and our loss, we pray that we’ll look to the Lord for our strength and our comfort and we pray that we will all be joyful as we remember the good times. We are thankful to have been able to witness the love and commitment to each other that Uncle Bud and Aunt Charlotte shared for so many years.

  2. Charolette I am so glad you are at peace. You will be missed by all of us. I will always remember the “social” times I had with you and Bud as I was getting through college and the Lifesaver Christmas gifts. Thank you so much for the love kindness all of these years.

  3. Devils Lake North Dakota
Dearest Aunt Charlotte, your sweet, loving, gentle spirit will be deeply missed. Our Heavenly Father needed another Angel in Heaven so he called for you. It gives all of us who love you great comfort to know you are in Heaven praying for us. Rest in Peace. Love Nancy

  4. Medical Lake WAMy Darling Auntie Char, you will be missed more than words can convey, but I am deeply comforted knowing that you and Mom and Dad and Grandma & Grandpa are together and keeping a watch out for us all. You know how you two are! Give Mom a big hug for me! And we will all give Bud a hug for you. I Love You!
