Christopher Ragan

Christopher Ragan, 30, Fargo, ND, died on Monday, Oct. 13, 2008 in his home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Christopher ?Chris? William Ragan was born on June 10, 1978 in Oakes, ND the youngest son of Bill and Nancy Ragan. He spent the first nine years of his life on a farm near Verona. Chris was baptized at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Verona and confirmed at the Basilica of St. James in Jamestown, ND. He attended school in Verona, Valley City, and Jamestown. He graduated from Jamestown High School in 1996 and then graduated from Thief River Falls Technical School as a certified air frame and power plant aircraft mechanic. He worked for Duncan Aviation, Lincoln, NE as a mechanic repairing private jets. He then took a position with Northwest Airlines in Minneapolis, MN and worked there for a number of years. In 2005 he moved to Fargo, ND and at the time of his death he was employed by Interstate Assembly. Chris is survived by his son, Aaron; parents, Bill and Nancy; two brothers, Brian and Bruce; one sister; Jackie; and his maternal grandparents. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; two nieces and one nephew. Memorials are preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley.
