Connie passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at Innovis Health at the age of 78. Connie M. Robinson was born to Charles Clyde and Maybelle Ann (Dutton) Robinson on October 19, 1929 in Minneapolis, MN. She graduated from high school in Minneapolis and moved to Presquisle, Maine. She worked for the Federal Government for approximately two years. She then moved back to Wimbledon, North Dakota and worked as a nanny for a local family until her marriage. Connie Robinson and John W. Ihle were united in marriage on June 19, 1950 in Minot, ND. They moved to Fargo, ND in about 1960. She worked for a time at both the Piggly Wiggly Grocery Store and at Blue Cross Blue Shield in the Claims Department before starting at Mobil Oil as a bookkeeper. She worked in the billing department for 17 years. Connie retired in 1987 and John passed away on August 4, 2000. Connie had been an active volunteer at the Red Cross for approximately 7 years. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and active on the Funeral Lunch Committee and enjoyed hand crafts and sewing. Connie is survived by her children, Mark Arthur Robinson Ihle of the Twin Cities, MN; Thomas Charles Ihle (Judy) of Glyndon, MN; John M. Ihle (Lorna) of rural Barnesville, MN; Kathy Ann Ihle of Moorhead, MN; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; and her sisters, Betty Sather (Robert) of Mound, MN; and Nina Bushy of Minneapolis, MN. Connie was preceded by parents; husband; and her siblings, Beverly Nelson, Janet Olin, Terry Robinson, and Dick Robinson and Clark Robinson. Memorial Service: 10:30 AM Friday at Boulger Funeral Home Chapel in Fargo.
