Cora O. Wiidakas 99 of 1517 11th St. N. Fargo, ND
died Friday, July 4, 2003 at Elim Nursing Home.
Cora O. Storslee the daughter of Henry & Alma (Anderson) Storslee was born April 30, 1904 in Ada, MN. She grew up there and graduated from Ada High School in 1922. Cora graduated from Moorhead State Teachers College in 1925. She taught 1st grade at Ulen, MN from 1925-1928, she then taught at Crookston, MN. for a year. Cora taught in Milwaukee, WI until 1932 after which she returned to Crookston, where she taught until 1942. Cora married William (Bill) Wiidakas on January 24, 1942 in Ada, MN. The couple made there home in Fargo. Cora worked at the Election Board at Ben Franklin School in Fargo for almost forty years. She also taught Sunday School at Plymouth Congregational Church from 1942 until 1959. Cora has been a resident of Elim Nursing Home since 2000 Her husband died in 1980.
She is survived by her son John, Fargo, ND, two grandchildren, Kari Wiidakas, Fargo and Bradley Wiidakas, Denver, CO. She is also survived by two Brothers, Alton Storslee, Rockville, MD and Donald Storslee, Mabton, WA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, a son, Paul, and two brothers, Harry and Clayton.
Funeral Service: Tuesday 2:00 P.M. Plymouth Congregational Church, Fargo, ND
Visitation: Monday: 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the Boulger Funeral Home and one hour before
the service at the church on Tuesday.
Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND
