Cynthia "Cindie' Winzer

Cynthia Winzer, our beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2014 in her home.

Cindie was born in 1951 in "The Cities" Minnesota and lived in Fargo North Dakota. She is survived by her husband Larry Winzer, daughter Gina Nelson and husband Lee Bernal, son Dana Nelson and wife Maria Nelson, son Jason Nelson and wife Ashlee Nelson. Grandchildren Lee and Levi Bernal, Micaela and Lucas Nelson, Gavyn and Zayne Nelson. Great grandchildren Leelah and Laszlo Bernal.

Cindie's zest for life, fun, food and her family gave her many adventures and travels from fishing on the lakes of Minnesota to exploring the great mountains of Colorado and tanning on the beautiful beaches of South Florida and the Bahamas. Experiencing all of these great adventures with her children and grandchildren.

Her smile gave us a comfort that all problems have solutions and all problems can be overcome with love. While her laugh resonates in all of our hearts, she taught us to find the joy in those around us.

Cindie believed in humility and selflessness. Over several years she happily devoted countless hours volunteering herself to cook and prepare meals for the Fargo Catholic Diocese. We all loved her food!

To a special wife, mother, grandmother and friend - you have touched us all.

The time has come, The Lord has called you home and in the words of her beloved Elvis Presley, "I did it my way" is how you lived your life and we are so happy to have shared ours with you.

We love you and you will be forever in our hearts!
