Dale Kenneth Keisacker, age 66, of Mapleton, ND passed away May 9th 2008 at his home.
Dale was born March 24th 1942 to Kenneth and Lenora (Urvand) Keisacker on the family farm near Lakota, ND. He attended elementary school in Country School Dodd?s #4. He attended high school in Lakota. After high school he worked for the Railroad in Minneapolis. Dale served with distinction in Vietnam as well as more than 20 years in the National Guard. On August 15, 1981 he married Loretta (Jundt) Schumacher in Casselton, ND. They resided in Mapleton, where he worked for Federal Beef, and West-Way trading in Mapleton. He was most recently employed by Dahl Industrial Tool Company.
Dale is survived by his wife Loretta, his sons, Dale Hjelseth, Rapid City, SD, David Hjelseth of Tampa, Florida daughter Sheila (Donald) Nygaard of Sharon, ND, stepchildren: Tom Marek of Wyndmere, ND, Carla (Arlen) Truitt of Fargo, ND, Arlyn (Katrina) Schumacher of Foxhome, MN, Joel Schumacher of Fargo, ND, 7 grandchildren, sisters Dorothy (Kenneth) Evenson of Valley City, ND, Vonnie (Walley) Bergland of Grand Forks ND, Carol (Mike) Utt of Casselton, ND, Judy (Richard) Balek of Lawton, ND as well as several nieces and nephews.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother Allan.
Dale loved camping, traveling, hunting. He was very proud of his children, grandchildren and family.
Visitation: Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Boulger Funeral Home.
