Daniel Gene McGregor Born 12/27/52 Daniel Gene McGregorFargo, NDDaniel passed away on Friday, May 20, 2005, at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo at the age of 52.Daniel was born on December 27, 1952, the son of John and Jean (Minder) McGregor, in Wolsey, SD. He grew up in this area and received his education in Wolsey, Huron, Omaha, NE, and New Effington where he graduated from high school. Daniel was united in marriage to Dawn Fladland and two children were born to this union, Charles and Andrew. Daniel made his home in the New Effington area where he continued his career in the construction, graveling and farming businesses. He also managed the American Legion Club and the Lakeview Supper Club while in New Effington. Daniel graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in business in 1990. He also earned his real estate license in North Dakota and in Florida. In Fargo, Daniel began his real estate career with Town and Country Realty and currently worked for Century 21 Gold Key Realty. On August 16, 2003, Daniel married Emmy Lou Tonsfelt. The couple worked diligently to restore and renovate their rental properties and homes in Fargo, Lake Melissa near Detroit Lakes, MN, and in Bonita Springs, FL. Daniel is survived by his wife, Emmy Lou of Fargo; his son, Andrew of Minneapolis, MN; his father John (Joy) McGregor of New Effington, SD; his brother, David (LeAnn) of Kearney, NE; and his sister, Kathy (Tom) Haass of Gig Harbor WA. He is also survived by many other dear relatives including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Daniel was preceded in death by his mother, Jean and his son, Charles.
