David Lund died on Saturday, July 12, 2003, at the Veteran?s Administration Hospital in Fargo at the age of 60.
David Lund was born on June 16, 1943, in Roseau, Minnesota, the son of Arthur and Jennie (Haaland) Lund. He moved with his family at a young age to Fargo, North Dakota. He grew up in Fargo, attended school, and graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1961. David then attended North Dakota State University (NDSU) in Fargo before entering the service. He proudly served his country in the United States Army in Germany. After his discharge he returned to Fargo and went to NDSU for electrical engineering and then began working in construction. He was employed by Twin City Construction and later by Dakota Construction where he worked as a finish carpenter. David was an avid fisherman and loved hunting in his earlier years. He will be greatly missed by all.
Surviving are his mother Jennie Lund of Fargo; his sister, Marilyn (Lynn) Zerull of Tucson, Arizona; and his brother, Dale of Fargo; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Arthur in 2002.

Prayer Service: 7 PM Thursday, July 17, 2003, at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo. Visitation will be from 6 – 7 PM.
