Dean Andrew DuBord, 54, of Fargo, died Nov. 16, 2012 in Sanford Hospital, Palliative Care Unit in Fargo, surrounded by family.
Dean was born December 12, 1957 in Fargo to David and Adeline DuBord.
He enjoyed being outdoors, riding his bike etc . . . until cancer struck once again and his health declined. He loved watching football (especially the Vikings), as well as his beloved cats. Dean was a kind and gentle soul and treated everyone he met with care and compassion.
Surviving Dean is his mother, Adeline, Evergreen Nursing Home of Fargo; 3 brothers, Dave (Barb), Kindred, ND, Rick (Liz), Galva, Iowa, Kerry (Kathy), Ocean View, HI; and 1 sister, Lorie (Brent) Dietrich, Kindred, ND; and also many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces.
Preceding Dean in death is his father, David A. DuBord.
A special thank you to the Palliative Care Unit as well as Hospice of the Red River Valley.

I Knew Dean working with him at GPK Products. I am so sorry for your loss,he was a very kind man and i will always remember many lunch hours with Dean talking about the things of God. My sympathy to all the DuBord family…..

I had the pleasure of working with Dean at GPK Products many years ago. He was always kind and considerate of his co-workers and could always be counted on for a laugh or two during the day! My sympathies to Dean’s family!

Seeing all these loving comments is so heart-warming. I will miss Dean so very much but know he is re-united with my dad and many others who have passed before us. His struggles have ended. Such a gentle soul. He will make for a terrific angel and Heaven is lucky to have him .. “Love ya Deano”
