Delmer Timothy Kelly

Delmer Timothy Kelly, age 43 of Moorhead, MN passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2006 at the VA Medical Center in Fargo after an extended battle with esophageal cancer. Delmer was born on August 3, 1963 in Jesup, GA to Thomas Woodrow and Mavis (Mobley) Kelly. He graduated from Long County High School in 1981. After graduation, he joined the US Air Force and served as a sergeant. He went into Integrated Avionics Computerized Test STA & Component Specialist field and was honorably discharged in 1992. He then attended Minot State University and graduated in 1998 with a degree in Finance and Computer Science. He was employed with the Fargo VA Medical Center for 8 years as a computer specialist. He married Lorie Marie Boucher on July 24, 1999 in Perham, MN. Delmer was a very caring person who loved to work on things, help other people and enjoyed reading and his computer. He loved to listen to music, play his guitar, tinker with race cars and work in the yard. He was preceded in death by his parents. Delmer is survived by his wife, Lorie of Moorhead; children, Alisha S. Kelly and LaTricia P. Kelly, both of Moorhead; step-children, Jeremy, Joseph, Alicia and James Matter, all of Detroit Lakes, MN; grandchildren; brothers, Lewis G. Kelly (Eloise), Thomas Woodrow Kelly, Jr, (Janice) and sister, Yvonne Rush (Quinton). He will be missed very much by his friends and family.
