Delores Berg

Delores Adele Berg, 78, West Fargo, North Dakota, died Sunday, March 16, 2003, at Meritcare Hospital, Fargo, ND. Delores Wood was born on March 26, 1924 in Crocus, North Dakota. She grew up in that area and attended school there. Delores Wood married Erling Berg in Bisbee, North Dakota on July 14, 1944. They lived and farmed in the Bisbee area until retiring in 1980. After retiring they moved into Bisbee where Delores worked at the Towner County Memorial Hospital. Her husband, Erling, preceded her in death in 1984. In 1988 Delores moved to Fargo. She worked at St. John?s Hospital and then began working at the South Elementary School in West Fargo where she was currently employed. She is survived by her children, Faith (Donald) Gast, Fargo, Steven (Lynnette) Berg, Bisbee, ND, Raymond (Patty) Berg, Newport, MN, Lois (Freddy) Wood, Jamestown, ND, and Cindy (Robert) Jones, Brainerd, MN; two brothers, Vernon (Virginia) Landis, Seattle, WA, and Dwane Landis, Seattle, WA; two sisters, Joyce Steorts, Redding, CA, and Donna Petterson, Sun City, AZ; 10 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday in Faith Lutheran Church, West Fargo. There will be a visitation in the Boulger Funeral Home from 4:00 to 8:00 Thursday. Burial will take place at a later date at the Bisbee Lutheran Cemetery, Bisbee, ND.
