Diane M. Benedict, 61, Fargo passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Essentia Health, Fargo. Diane was born September 15, 1959 in Rugby, North Dakota to Lyle and O’Della (Robinson) Marchus. She started school in Leeds, ND before her family moved to Fargo where she graduated from Fargo North High School in 1977. She went to work for US West Telephone Service as a Cord Board Operator in Fargo for 18 years. She also worked for Country Greenery and enjoyed working around plants and flowers. She married Arvine Benedict on October 17, 1992 at Hickson Lutheran Church, Hickson, ND. They made their home in Fargo, North Dakota. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews and her biggest love of all was for her dog Gordon. She loved going for walks and gardening and enjoyed working out when she could. She also enjoyed traveling. Diane is survived by her husband, Arvine, Fargo, ND; siblings, David Marchus, West Fargo, ND, Debby Marchus, Fargo, ND, Denise Marchus, Fargo, ND, brother-in-law, Philip (Peggy) Benedict, Maple Grove, MN, sister-in-law, Roberta Benedict, Crystal, MN and many nieces and nephews.
