Obituary

Dianna J. Booke, 52, Fargo passed away Monday, April 7, 2014 at Bethany Retirement Living, Fargo.

Dianna was born June 6, 1961 in Moorhead, Minnesota to Duane and Rose (Taylor) Booke. She graduated from Fargo South High School in 1979. She then went on to attend 1 year of college at North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton. Dianna worked in the Minneapolis area for a time before returning to Fargo where she worked for MeritCare Hospital and volunteered at Nativity Catholic Church.

Dianna was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in 1979. The disease didn’t interrupt her life until in her later years. In 2011, Dianna was diagnosed with lung cancer, a battle she fought until her passing.

She loved to sing Karaoke, singing at many of her friends weddings. She played guitar and sang with the Nativity guitar group in her high school years. She enjoyed spending time at the family lake on Leaf, reading, watching TV and eating her favorite snack, Reese’s. She was an avid Vikings fan, whether they won or lost. Her family was of utmost most importance to her and she loved spending with Tasha, Taylor and “Shadow.”

Dianna is survived by her parents, Duane and Rose, Fargo, ND, sister, Margie Booke, Moorhead, MN, niece, Tasha Booke and nephew, Taylor Booke, both of Moorhead and her ex-husband, Hal Terrell, Fargo, ND.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley.
