Donald Cooper Reynolds, North Dakota Donald passed away on Friday, March 3, 2006, at the Hillsboro Medical Center Hospital at the age of 84. Donald was born on October 6, 1921, the son of Francis and Marie (Peterson) Cooper, near Buxton, North Dakota. He moved with his family at an early age to Belmont, North Dakota, where he attended school. The family then moved to Portland, North Dakota. Donald proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1942 until his discharge in 1946. During WWII he was stationed in North Africa and also in Italy. Donald was united in marriage to Delores Davidson in August of 1958. They made their home in Portland until moving to Reynolds, North Dakota, in 1967. Donald worked as a plumber and also as a farmer for many years in this area. He most enjoyed his time with family and also had a great love for flying. Donald is survived by his wife, Delores of Reynolds; his children, Penny (Paul) Miller of Sunland, California ? and their daughter Samantha; Sonya (Jerry) Nankivel of Wahpeton, North Dakota ? and their children, Matthew, Nicholas and Tiffany; and David (Heather) Cooper of Wahpeton ? and their children, Keenan, Dawson and Twyla. He is also survived by his sisters, Marion Latondresse of Mayville, North Dakota; and Ruby Christenson of Portland; his half brother, Charles Cooper of Kaslo, British Columbia; his sister-in-law, Inger Cooper of Moorhead, Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews.
